CLIENT-SUPPLIED ITEMS POLICY
At Naadu Designs, we are happy to embroider or apply direct-to-film (DTF) prints on items brought in
by our clients. However, because we are working with items we did not source or inspect prior to
production, the following terms apply.
Acceptance of Items
By submitting an item to Naadu Designs for embroidery or DTF printing, you acknowledge and accept
the terms outlined in this policy. We reserve the right to refuse any item we deem unsuitable for our
processes, including items that are worn, damaged, previously printed or coated, or made from
materials incompatible with embroidery or DTF printing.
A Note on Sentimental & Irreplaceable Items
We kindly encourage all clients to carefully consider whether the item they are submitting can be
replaced if an unforeseen issue arises during production. While we treat every item with the utmost
care, we strongly recommend sourcing items that are readily available for repurchase — such as items
still sold in stores or easily ordered online. We would hate for a treasured or one-of-a-kind piece to be
put at risk. If your item holds significant sentimental or monetary value and cannot be replaced, please
speak with us before submitting it so we can discuss the best approach together.
No Liability for Damage
Naadu Designs will take every precaution when working with your item. However, we cannot be held
responsible for any damage that may occur during the embroidery or DTF printing process, including
but not limited to fabric puckering, tearing, discolouration, shrinkage, or film adhesion inconsistencies.
Embroidery involves needles, heat, and stabilizers, while DTF printing involves heat-pressed film
transfers — both of which may affect certain fabrics and materials differently.
No Guarantee of Results
While we always strive for the best possible outcome, we cannot guarantee the same results on
client-supplied items as we can on items we source ourselves. Fabric type, weight, texture, colour, and
condition all affect the quality of the finished product. DTF prints adhere best to smooth, tightly woven
fabrics — results on heavily textured, stretchy, or treated surfaces may vary.
Item Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Items left with us for more than 30 days after the completion of your order will be considered
abandoned and may be donated or disposed of at our discretion.
