How machine embroidery is priced

Embroidery pricing has two separate components. Understanding both helps you budget accurately.

Component 1 — one-time per design

Digitizing fee

Converts your artwork into a machine-readable stitch file. Charged once. Free on all re-orders using the same design.

Component 2 — per piece, per order

Decoration fee

The per-piece cost to embroider your design. Varies by stitch count, location, and quantity. Decreases with larger orders.

Digitizing fees One-time per design

Digitizing converts your artwork into a stitch file. Fee is based on design complexity and stitch count. Provide a clean vector file (AI or EPS) or high resolution image to reduce cost and turnaround time.

Blank Garments

You have two options — bring your own blanks or have us source them. Either way works, and you can mix both within the same order.

Supply your own

Drop off or ship your blank garments to us. We’ll embroider and return them on your agreed turnaround date. Pricing covers decoration only.

We source them for you

Don’t have blanks? We can source garments on your behalf at wholesale or competitive pricing. We’ll include blank costs in your estimate.

Decoration pricing applies regardless of who supplies the blanks. If we source garments for you, blank costs are quoted separately and added to your total.

Per-piece embroidery fee for one location. Does not include the digitizing fee or cost of the blank garment/item.

Hats require a cylindrical hooping frame and slower machine speed. This adds to the per-piece cost versus the same design on a flat garment.

Decoration fees decrease at higher quantities. Standard rates apply from the first piece — no minimum order required. Discounts apply to the decoration fee only; digitizing is charged once regardless of quantity.

How it Works

Submit your artwork along with your item type, quantity, and embroidery locations. If you’d like us to source blank garments, just let us know — we’ll factor everything into your estimate, including the digitizing fee, and follow up within 1 business day.

Drop off or we source

Bring your own blank garments or let us source them for you. We take care of the embroidery either way.

Approve & digitize

We digitize your artwork and send a stitch preview for approval before embroidering a single piece.

We stitch & return

Once approved, we embroider your full order and return finished pieces on the agreed date. Your stitch file is stored for future orders.
